Bath Pic Spam

So, a bit late but - I was in Bath over Easter, having a bit of a jolly and taking the odd picture. An artist had some sculptures around the Abbey which were certainly eye-catching. Here's one...

Big Bull
Big Hare This one was directly to the left of Big Bull.

Across the way, directly in front of the Pump Room (they do nice afternoon tea) was this one:
Hares and Dogs All very interesting while at the same time a little disturbing.

I also managed to get some pictures of notices on some of the buildings, as well as some of the alleyways or ginnals down the side of those buildings which will be handy for the research on the Georgian novel that was paused while I worked on some short fiction.

I had a great time (despite being ill) and would certainly recommend it as a place to visit if you get the chance. And you like Georgian buildings. And cream teas.

Interesting is the word I'd use for them, too! From the pictures, I can't tell what material they're made from. Any idea?

Bronze and wire - done by Sophie Ryder. http://www.sculpture.org.uk/biography/SophieRyder/

There were a lot of hares generally in shops and galleries in Bath. It's not the year of the hare or something, is it? ;o)

Very cool--thanks for the link! And I believe it's the Year of the Ox, so no help there on the rabbits. ;)
